I cannot reccomend Advance Drive enough for new drivers! After failing the test three times with other instructors I had lost all confidence in my driving abilities. And became a very nervous driver. I then went to Advance Drive where Noel became my new instructor. Noel changed my whole perspective on driving and the nerves went away. He's so patient and understanding and I found the lessons to be fun and enjoyable in comparison to other driving schools in Galway. 10/10 for Noel & Advanced drive, could not reccomend enough! It being almost 43 years since I did my last driving test, I was a little nervous and apprehensive at doing the bus driving course and test especially as I'm now in my early 60's. I should not have worried, the instructors both in practical driving and theory were excellent. Knowledgeable, patient, encouraging as well as being precise and constructive in their feedback. Can't thank the staff at Advance Drive enough, only for them I wouldn't have my truck licence. I would highly recommend them especially Mike (driving instructor), Trevor Bonner (Forklift instructor) and James Folan (Rules of the Road). Lee done most of my lessons, he's a strict instructor but good, always open to questions. I was fairly nervous on the run up to my driving test but Mike really helped, he gave me a mock test, it eased my nerves. I really enjoyed the HGV course. The in-house staff at advanced drive are very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help me with any queries I had. Even if they did not have the answer at hand, they made sure to phone me back with the answer. It is a very professional and welcoming environment and despite the course being 3 months, it felt like 3 weeks. My instructor, Gerry Burke was a fantastic instructor. He was friendly, banterful yet firm and professional. We worked on the practical aspects of the bus course rigorously all while smiling and joking, and this ultimately made the test itself a breeze.

I contacted Advance Drive after a disappointing lesson with another provider. The booking process, the facility and communication was absolutely fantastic! The rest of our team will now be attending Advance to upskill. Special mention to PJ who is a fantastic instructor and kept everything so relaxed and easy. It was genuinely enjoyable to do lessons with him.

Passed my artic test with Advance Drive recently. Really helpful and friendly office staff - very easy to deal with. Dezzie my instructor was excellent - great knowledge of the routes and gave me great guidence. I had Noel for one lesson and found him very good also. I would highly recommend Advance Drive. once again i have to complement all at advance drive ive just passed my bus test and got no marks this is down to dessie my instructor he went trough every little detail fully over and over again he is calm but misses nothing and is able to push you to your best he is a true professional this is my second time with dessie he got me trough the artic as well i will highly recomend advance drive to anyone thinking of doing driving lessons they take you on board as an individual and work with your needs to get you through regis golding

I passed my rigid truck (C) license at the first attempt yesterday, delighted! I did most of my lessons with Dezzie and one lesson with Mike. There were a few bumps along the road - took me a year from start to finish because my work interfered with booking and scheduling lessons - but Advance Drive as a company left me with the feeling that they care about each and every one of their students. They gave individual attention to me, and I am sure every student who chooses to train with them. Each person gets the education, practice, information and personal attention that they as an individual need. Now I feel like a competent and confident driver. I recommend this school. I want to thank particularly Dezzie for doing most of my lessons, your training style made everything feel very natural and easy and clear and I wish to thank everyone else who had a hand in my success: Mike, Phillip, and Aoife for all your help as a team to get me through at first attempt.

Super thankful to the whole team at Advance drive for all their help from start to finish. The girls in the office, Aoife and Carla were so helpful and accommodating trying to get times and dates that suited me each week. And a massive thank you to Corey was the most patient and supportive instructor. Without him I wouldn’t have passed on the first attempt, his calm and friendly attitude instantly put me at ease! Passed my CE driving test, Dezzie was my Driving Instructor. Dezzie was very patient and extremely helpful. The two hour lessons were very informative.
