Just passed my C licence Rigid truck under Dezzie's tuition this morning. Excellent school and only the best teachers around! Patience and outstanding communication from the instructor with superior knowledge of not only what he was teaching but of what I was going to do next. I am delighted to say that I just passed my bus driving test. The teachers and driving instructors at Advance drive are very knowledgeable and professional.
I was a bit nervous about the driving and the test preparation, but they were very patient. They encouraged and prepared me so well that I passed my test the first time.

My driving instructor was Declan and he is a very good profesional and knows his job well. He explains everything very clear and in a very understandable way and he has a great patience. He is a very good teacher. I have changed many different driving instructors. I can say, that Declan always gives a very good examples from everyday life . He taught me a lot, and I am very grateful for and I still can’t believe that I’ve passed my driving test.

Advance Drive was a great option to complete my EDT in the way to obtain the Irish driving license.
Very responsive and proffesionals, Emma and Aoife were great in supporting the classes scheduling and booking the car for the day of the test. For me it was very valuable the offered service to book the same car to take the exam.
My instructor Pat was brilliant and patient in guiding me in the introduction to Ireland's driving rules and correcting me some bad driving habits!. He gave me very good tips, that I took, and I am very happy to have passed the driving test today!

Noel was patient and prudent.
He instructed me well. I was low on confidence when it came to driving, but within the first few classes, I was comfortable enough with him to overcome that fear.
I highly recommend him as an instructor because he starts from the basics and covers all the necessary detail to become a good driver.

Great company to deal with from start to finish! Office staff is friendly and easy to work with. I took lessons for car driving. My instructor was Declan. Declan was clear and easy to understand. He was most patient during my transition of many years of driving in the U.S. to Irish driving. Can't say enough great things about Declan and the whole team.

I went to Advanced drive after they were recommended by a friend. I have now passed 2 tests with them (bus and truck) and can't praise them enough. Phillip and Mike are both very patient and encouraging during the learning process. During each pre-test lesson they re-assured me and gave me ways to deal with the test nerves. I would definitely recommend driving lessons with advance drive. My instructor Vas was very clear, calm and patient. He gave me great confidence and tips that I was able to recall in my head while taking my test. He also recommended that I take a mock test and I am so glad he did as i was then able to perfect areas that I needed to in order to pass my test.

Thanks a million to all at Advance. I've just completed a hat-trick of Rigid, Bus and Artic tests and it's all thanks to your team. I've learned a lot, made new friends and had great craic in 2024 thanks to Advance - and not forgetting Patricia and all at GRETB. Everyone involved was professional and courteous but more importantly, very helpful and supportive. The instructors all had great patience and skill - and above all, a sense of humour (and they certainly needed that at times!). And the back-room team were always a pleasure to deal with - very efficient.
Phillip and Ailbhe, ye have a great team there - keep doing what ye're doing. And put me on the waiting list for next year's Sikorsky 101 course - although I'm dreading the hill-start!

I'm euphoric, I passed the C Truck Licence which now allows us to head off into the sunset in our gorgeous huge camper van.
Under Noel's tuition from Advance Drive every minute of every hour was spent learning and correcting and improving and more learning until we reached our goal.
In my opinion Noel has the perfect balance - he brought a joyous ambience to the cab with his lovely lighthearted demeanour.
He instilled a confidence in me and I always left the driving session feeling chuffed.

The best way to describe these guys is top class in there profession! With Philip as my instructor, I had never even been in a truck until my first lesson, and after few lessons with him I passed my test first time! Hi All, I just want to thank Dezzie and all the team at Advance Drive for helping me pass my Class B driving test last Monday in Westside Galway. Overall, I did 17 lessons with Dezzie in the Ford Fiesta and I found him to be extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable at all times, and I can definitely say that he has the patience of a saint. As such, I can't recommend Advance Drive enough and I know that I would not have passed my driving test first time round without Dezzie's expert help. Thanks a million Dezzie.

From start to finish Noel was brilliant, clear instructions and very good knowledge of all aspects of driving with a trailer. I would like to thank Noel for all his time and hard work. Understandably, I was getting a bit nervous before my test and Vas calmed me down and told me I know everything and to just relax. I HIGHLY recommend Vas as a driving instructor.

I want to say a massive thank you to the Advance Drive team, especially Martin and Aoife.
Firstly, every time I contacted advance drive I was greeted by Aoife who went over and beyond to help as much she could in regards to lessons, booking me in, changing slots and replying to emails.
However, I owe a huge thanks to Martin, my instructor for all my 22 lessons! From start to finish he gave it his all, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. He made sure I was all set for my test, which meant first go I passed with flying colours! I highly recommend him, and advance drive overall, and wish them the very best.

He made it so easy for me to pass , Mike goes through everything very throughly and makes sure you are ready before you go for your test . It’s a good instructor that will get you to pass your test but a great instructor to get a clean sheet and that’s what Mike did . I highly recommend Advance Drive for their professional service. Having never driven a large vehicle before, from day one my bus driving training with Mike was excellent! Initial nerves were soon put to rest and I felt at ease with his guidance and his great wealth of experience as we progressed with the driving training program and preparations for the CPC. I did my D licence with Advance Drive before Christmas. Dessie was my instructor and I found him to be very experienced, patient and professional. Dessie subtly gets the point across of the mistakes that you are making without making you feel bad about it. He recommended that I do 2 extra lessons, the benefit of which was very noticeable and I may not have passed first time without them. Many thanks to Dessie and all at Advance Drive.
