Finally passed my driving test yesterday. Could not recommend Advance Drive enough, my instructor Vas was incredibly patient and could always tell me exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. He was so terrific and professional and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my license. Driving did not come naturally to me at all and I had absolutely no experience driving a car before starting lessons. Even so, I always felt comfortable and never worried that getting my license was unachievable, as the lessons were really tailored to what I needed. I recently successfully completed my class D driving test. Training was provided by Advance Drive. I was lucky to have been paired with Noel one of the many instructors for the duration of my training. It was an enjoyable experience. Noel was so knowledgeable and he punctuated each lesson with pearls of wisdom and advice. He broke the whole driving process down to make it more readily understandable. All of the staff at Advance Drive were so professional from the very first day. There was a steady stream of emails and text messages to remind you of your driving lessons. I was very nervous when starting to learn to drive a bus. I had never driven a bus in my life! But the training and instruction I got was excellent. The information and advice I got from Vincent during the lessons on the road, were very accurate, and he made me feel completely at home when driving the bus. Because of him I felt quite confident the day of the test, and so was delighted when I passed! with only one tick against me. I was absolutely delighted and really appreciated all the effort the Advance Drive Team gave to me. I would recommend them in a heart beat.

I passed my truck C test yesterday. I never drove a truck before and did seven lessons with Advance Drive instructor PJ Dunne. PJ’s tuition was 10/10, excellent, extremely professional. He is very personable and puts you at ease. His extensive experience is priceless, and he weighs your capabilities instantly and focuses on your weaknesses. He also drills you on the headline Health and safety and has his easy-to-follow notations to program you in good practice. The test is difficult, I was pushed on every element during the test. The lessons got rid of my years of ‘bad habits’ driving a jeep. During the test, PJ’s advice loud in my head at every junction, tight corner squeezed road due to road works, looking ahead to preempt potential hazards all came together the day of the test. When the examiner spoke to me briefly after the test, she said – ‘You must have been driving a truck for a while.’ That is a testimony to how good Advance Drive is and Instructor PJ Dunne. I highly recommend Advance drive for any of your driving lessons. In house Aoife, who had to account for my few cancellations, is very professional, friendly, and polite. An extremely efficient, professional business. Lessons are essential to pass this test and I highly recommend Advance Drive-An effective team. Peter

Passed my D class bus licence test this week. I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. The training is both relaxed and very professional in the delivery. You find your self all of a sudden in about week 5 or 6 of the 10 week course having a very good understanding of what is required as a professional bus driver. Even more surprising you will be driving a D class Bus around Galway and Oranmore like it was your daily drive. That really impressed me! Vas was an excellent driving instructor. The lessons were clear and concise and if I was ever unsure of anything Vas was patient and explained everything clearly and he really helped with my confidence. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Just got my C licence first try . Couldn’t say enough about Advance Drive and their whole team .Excellent people and very informative and friendly. I had Dessie for my lessons and he was great. I never drove a truck before. He put me at ease and was really easy to listen too.got his points and information across very well and were easy to put in to practice .Top class instructor. Found Advance Driving School to be very helpful and informative when making inquiries about getting a new category added to licence. I had a couple of truck driving lessons with Dessie and passed first time. Found Dessie to be very informative about all aspects of rules of the road as some of these had to be refreshed for me. Also found him to be very relaxed during lessons. Would definitely recommend for future lessons. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Advance Drive to anyone wishing to do their driving test. I found Dessie very helpful through out all the lessons and wouldnt have passed it first time with out his help. Great value for money :)

Brilliant service from the girls in office Emma and Aoife to instructors very professional set up. Instructors Anton and Noel were very knowledgeable and easily explained the process of testing. Thanks to them i passed my Category C rigid first time. A brilliant service from start to finish. Would highly recommend the service if going for your test.
