I was very nervous when starting to learn to drive a bus. I had never driven a bus in my life! But the training and instruction I got was excellent. The information and advice I got from Vincent during the lessons on the road, were very accurate, and he made me feel completely at home when driving the bus. I completed my bus licence back in January and rigid licence in May with Advance Drive. I could not be any happier with all of the staff that made it such an easy task in obtaining both licences. I went to Advance Drive for mini bus lessons and thankfully passed my test last Tuesday. I got held up on taking my test as Covid just came in when I had started with the lessons. I found Mike in the earlier lessons I took to be very good & helpfull and in the last few lessons I took with Gerry Burke I found him also very good & helpfull. Passed my D class bus licence test this week. I 'm convinced that it was down to the very professional team of people at Advanced Drive in Galway that I did so well in every aspect of the training. My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! Passed my rigid test today. All the help and experience which I gained from my instructor Martin was greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend him and Advance Drive for anyone looking to get any type of driving licence- I learned a lot. A great experience all round!

I got my jeep and trailer licence with Dezzie first go and couldn't be happier. He was very patient with me as I had no experience starting off and made sure I was confident and ready to pass when it came to my test. Service was second to none from start to finish and would like to thank Advance, from the girls in the office, to Dezzie the instructor for everything. I will be recommending ye to anyone going for their licence.

I would highly recommend advance drive for getting lessons on whichever type of vehicle. I got my coach licence 1st time thanks to Philip and Michael. I was made very comfortable and found it easy to ask questions at any time. You will do you're driving test with confidence.

I passed my car driving test last week, I booked to few last minute lessons with advance Drive and if it wasn't for my instructor I really don't think I would have passed! The instructor was so patient and gave me so many good tips to help me drive better! I'd highly recommend taking lessons here!

Passed my Category D Bus Test today at my first attempt. Would not have been possible without Gerry's tuition. His knowledge and tips were on the money for the test. He has a relaxed way of instructing which makes you confident when driving. The whole package from Advance Drive has to be commended. Office staff very helpful with booking lessons etc... The advance drive team are absolutely fantastic and Noel is simply an amazing instructor! I just passed my test for B- car licence and it really is thanks to Noel and the Advance Drive team. I was learning to drive late and Noel encouraged and taught me to get the confidence and skill to drive. It was a great experience and now I feel ready for the road! Highly recommend doing the learner driver training with Advance drive and with Noel.
