I went to Advance Drive for mini bus lessons and thankfully passed my test last Tuesday. I got held up on taking my test as Covid just came in when I had started with the lessons. I found Mike in the earlier lessons I took to be very good & helpfull and in the last few lessons I took with Gerry Burke I found him also very good & helpfull. A massive thanks to Advance Drive for the brilliant service, especially to Lee for being an extremely patient and efficient instructor. Thank you for helping me develop and improve my driving skills, which allowed me to pass my bus test on my first attempt, and for squeezing me in for early morning lessons. Lee is a good instructor who is brilliant at instilling confidence in all areas of driving. He always gives constructive feedback throughout the lessons. I cannot recommend Lee enough for learner drivers of different levels of ability and confidence. He is an incredibly supportive mentor for anyone who wants to learn.

Delighted to pass my Category D Bus test on my first attempt. Thanks to all at Advance Drive, a professional company who ate to be highly recommended. A special word of thanks to my fantastic instructor Noel. Noel is professional, knowledgeable, informative and good craic too. On meeting I was immediately put at ease and what followed was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you want to learn to drive and pass your test, Noel is the instructor you want to book. Thanks also to Emma and Aoife in the office who were always very helpful in answering any queries I had.

Advance Drive was a great option to complete my EDT in the way to obtain the Irish driving license. Very responsive and proffesionals, Emma and Aoife were great in supporting the classes scheduling and booking the car for the day of the test. For me it was very valuable the offered service to book the same car to take the exam. My instructor Pat was brilliant and patient in guiding me in the introduction to Ireland's driving rules and correcting me some bad driving habits!. He gave me very good tips, that I took, and I am very happy to have passed the driving test today!

My driving lessons were disrupted by the recent health crisis, but once I joined up with Advance Drive and my instructor Martin, I flew through my remaining EDT's. Martin was a fantastic instructor and made me feel very comfortable getting back to driving as I was quite nervous. After a few lessons with him, my confidence grew leaps and bounds and with just three extra lessons after the essential ones, I passed my test the first time! I would highly recommend Martin and Advance Drive to anyone no matter where you are on your driving journey. Thanks so much Martin, couldn't have done it without you!!

Today i passed the Bus test on my first attempt.I also passed the Artic on my first attempt too with Advance. I would like to thank all the Management and Staff for their help and advice over the last few weeks. They have always been very helpful, professional and patient in their approach with students like myself. The 2 girls at front of house were always very helpful with any problem that had to be sloved. A big thanks to Noel for the Artic and to Mike for the Bus. I think that Mike has trained everyone that drives a bus or truck around Galway as everyone in a bus or truck waves at him every time. It felt like I was driving Michael D around waving at everyone. A great experience and one that I wont forget. What a brilliant company with wonderful personnel and I would like to wish them all the best in the future. I would hoghly reccommend Advance School of Motoring to anyone.

My driving instructor was Declan and he is a very good profesional and knows his job well. He explains everything very clear and in a very understandable way and he has a great patience. He is a very good teacher. I have changed many different driving instructors. I can say, that Declan always gives a very good examples from everyday life . He taught me a lot, and I am very grateful for and I still can’t believe that I’ve passed my driving test. Thank you Declan for your help and patience Olga

I have just completed the 10 week category D driver training course with Advance Drive. I would highly recommend the company and the course to anyone. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and very professional. Everything is cover from, First Aid Responder, Manual handling, Case studies and CPC practical training along with the driving test itself. My instructor "Mike" is a pure gentleman and has the patience of a Saint he made me feel at ease right from the start. As a transgender woman I'm always ony guard but it absolutely was not an issue from the get go. I will highly recommend Advance Drive in Galway to everyone.

From my initial contact to passing my test I could not have been happier with the high level of service I received. Aoife and all the staff working in their Ballybane Office were approachable, informative and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Driving / Driving Tests and timescales involved. Dezzie was my Driving Instructor and he displayed all of the aforementioned traits and more. He is also very good at catering for each persons desired method of learning as well as simply being “sound as a pound”. I have nothing but the highest regard for all the staff at Advance Drive and can confidently recommend them to anyone looking to get any kind of Driving Licence.
